The people were very receptive to God's words, they were so appreciative to what SBC gave them, and thanksgiving were overflowing. Mabigyan mo lang ng ilang pieces ng multivitamins tuwang-tuwa na! Babalikan namin kayo, very soon! |
| vibay wrote on Jun 3, '07 Here's the stat: Medical patients treated-379; Dental patients-210; Free reading eyeglasses given out-163. God sent 42 faithful workers in this area (3 medical doctors, 2 dentists, 3 nurses, 2 Pastors, 32 non-medical workers).

| vibay wrote on Jun 3, '07 She could have opted to spend that Saturday inside her air-conditioned room, watching her favorite DVD movie while eating Lay's chips with cheese dips....all these came into my mind when I saw this picture. But Jet chose to serve her King that day. Oh, this time she begged to me not to assign her in the pharmacy area (she had her pre-med course) but for her to be one of the counselors. She preferred to share God's good news of salvation and to let the people know of Jesus' love to them. Nakaka-blessed talaga itong si Jet. Later in the afternoon, I noticed her taking a break, eyes closed and trying to recharge for a brief moment. She was trying to stand the heat, perspiring all over, from that humid afternoon sun. Sabi ko sa sarili ko. "this woman is God's SUPERWOMAN. How HE has been using her for God's kingdom building." Jet, your passion is terribly contagious! |

"I am now here in Mindoro, a little bit tired but encouraged and challenged by the hugeness and bulk of the mission field the Lord has given us. As I was traveling back home, I felt the heaviness in my heart to reach out for others, to reconcile the losts to the Lord Jesus Christ, yet I see the very limited power we have in our hands. But... wow! the Lord our God is able to do great and mighty things through us. Indeed, nothing is too difficult to Him! Glory to the Lord.
Thanks for the opportunity I had with the medical-dental mission. The ministry is not new to me, yet His saving power is always new and fresh to those who will believe the gospel I was encouraged to see young people enjoying their part in the mission. May this ministry continue to grow, expand, and reach out as He leads you and your group. The Lord bless you richly.
Working with SBC through the local outreach has always been an honor. We desire that we we will able be to plant more churches for SBC. May the Lord continue to grant us the wisdom, strength and means to do it for His glory alone. We appreciate working and serving the Lord with you. Let us continue to press on... until He returns."
